What is coaching?

Ignite's model of coaching puts you at the centre of the relationship and you drive your own learning. Your coach is professionally trained, and in addition to coaching training, we have done a lot of research into what helps women make great decisions about their futures and how they can develop meaningful, successful, and balanced careers.

Through the coaching you can:

• Take time out to focus on you
• Recharge your batteries and take a step back and think about your next move
• Develop a framework for assessing current and future decisions
• Develop goals and action plans
• Be confident in your ability to achieve your goals
• Find sources of inspiration to keep you motivated going forward
• Develop your CV and/or applications for courses or jobs

Who is it for?

Because one to one coaching is tailored to your needs, it is suitable for any woman of any age. Ignite specialises in coaching for career development and transitions for women pre-career and in the earlier stages of their careers.

How does it work?

The programme can start anytime to suit you and your coach. Before your first session you will do some assessment work and fill in a joining pack to help your coach get to know you and what you want to achieve through coaching. You will send that to your coach the week before your first session.

In order to keep our coaching rates affordable, coaching sessions are done by telephone. Telephone coaching offers greater flexibility and means you can access great coaching no matter where you are are. The first session is one hour and each session thereafter is 45 mins and you can agree frequency and timings of your sessions with your coach.

What is the cost and what does it include?

All of our coaching is done over the phone or skype which enables us to keep prices affordable. We offer an hour session at £45 a session with email support between sessions. This offers great value, as the cost of coaching can start anywhere from £70 to £100 for a forty-five minute session.

In exceptional circumstances, we are able to negotiate the rise in rates for those who are unable to afford them as we believe everyone should be able to access this service.

For those who can afford to pay more, but choose to access an Ignite coach at our affordable rates, we ask that you make a donation to support our work serving girls and young women.

Can I try it out before I decide?

Yes, it's really important that the 'chemistry' is right between you and your coach. We offer free, no-obligation telephone sample sessions.
